A Day of Baking

Gluten-free Mixes
Gluten-free Mixes

Today I baked gluten-free vegan cinnamon rolls and brownies, which is more than I used to bake in an entire year (or two!).

Chebe is an awesome mix that is a naturally GF Brazilian recipe. It is usually for cheesy breadsticks, so I was happy to find this. The cinnamon rolls are pretty easy to make and do well with vegan egg substitutions. It’s fun to roll up the dough and you bake them in a muffin tin. They only place I’ve seen to buy it is here (cheap!): http://www.vitacost.com/chebe-gluten-free-cinnamon-roll-mix

Betty Crocker now kindly makes gluten-free mixes that are primarily vegan. Just bake with vegan substitutions. Takes a very short time! They have Devil’s Food Chocolate Cake, Yellow Cake, Choc Chip Cookies, and Brownies! It’s just about locating them at a store near you.
